Empire Volleyball Club is proud to announce the start of Empire Juniors

Empire Volleyball Club will be starting a new part of our volleyball club, titled "Empire Juniors." Empire Juniors will be for players ages 7-11 (girls and boys) who are looking to get a brief introduction to the game of volleyball. Empire Juniors is looking to bring its program to all parts of the North Bay and will be having programs set up in the following areas:  Santa Rosa, Sonoma, Petaluma, Sebastopol, and Ukiah.

Leading up the Empire Juniors program will be Coach Daryl Kapis who comes to Empire Volleyball Club with 24 years of coaching experience at all levels from junior high to college. Assisting within the program will be other coaches currently in the club, and some of our top older players within the club.

Each program will consist of eight sessions, lasting 1 hour and fifteen minutes. Each of the sessions will start with a general body awareness warm-up and stretching sessions, and will have a focus of two volleyball skills for the day. 

Teaching proper basic volleyball techniques and having fun is the goal of the program. Empire VBC will be using modified lighter volleyballs to allow maximum success per individual. All individuals will start at Level I training, and will move up to Level II upon satisfactory proficiency of each of the basic skills. Level II training will focus on more fast-paced and game-like drills.

The cost of the program is $180.00 for the eight sessions, or a walk-up cost of $25.00 per session.

As locations, dates, and times get solidified, the links will be opened for interested participants to register on the website, and will be starting in the summer of 2017.

Each session will be limited to 25 participants, maximizing the coach to player experience.

Times:  5:30 PM-6:45 PM
